They wouldn't announce it till the 1st if there even was one

There won't be an amnesty if they are extending those on stages to 12 months after 1 August

There's a fact sheet as well on Worksplace, no amnesty so RM have effectively moved the goal posts, in their favour of course!

I guess it's no real surprise but you'd have thought telling us when we will get the pay rise is the most important update to issue not details on the new attendance changes.

Perhaps the new CEO will have more compassion when they eventually start, although I'm not holding my breath.

It says in the agreement...

These changes will apply to any sickness absences from 1st August 2023.

That would make it legally difficult to apply the changes to include previous absences.

Since it would involve withholding pay I doubt they would risk an employment tribunal.

As already pointed out they may not want to advertise that fact.

It says in the agreement that the lump sum will be payable in the next available payroll run following ratification of the content of this Agreement by CWU members.

I'm assuming that will be next week and the payrise probably the following week.

Did you read it? Looks better to me. Now it takes 3 absences to trigger a stage 2 rather than two.

Used to be 2 absences in any 6 month period rather than 2 in 12 months
