How can Union get everybody back on board

Post by gb93 »

Well my thoughts are next pay deal.
Monday to Friday 35 hour week with Saturday & Sunday parcels done on mix of overtime & weekend parcel delivery drivers.
If the base 7 hours was 8am to 3pm Mon to Fri that in my opinion would go some way of solving school pick up problems too.
Next deal has to be one that benefits us in some ways too not just waters down RM plans
This ain't no baseball game, you get only one chance and you blew it.

They don't want you to finish at 3pm, they don't care about school pick ups, they want you out there till 10pm delivering their parcels.

The only way is to get a NO vote and the top table to step down,im afraid they will lose 1000's of members on a yes vote, but the CWU know this thats why they have been out there spreading their lies and actively recruiting new members from other communication companies so they can keep their high salary jobs, they are basically a political party fighting for survival and we the posties are collateral damage to their end game,48hours to fight or flight.

When I had something coming by Amazon the other day the initial estimate before it generated the time slot was 11pm!

The only way was to reject their deal and issue strike dates
Whatever the outcome on Tuesday ballot
That outcome has passed
Pec should all resign
Exec CWU should all resign
They have sold out as they have rejected their members instructions at the last IA ballot
And insisted we vote to accept everything we voted against
WHY
To protect their own interests
The cps markdowns and eventual demise is due to lack of action and acceptance of RM t&cs
More will come

Amazon prime can’t guarantee next day delivery now
Can’t keep their staff
Why they are backhanding packets to us Evri and many more

They can't, given the last 12 months.

Games a bogey.

And if nothing really happens to our benefit....do you REALLY think the CWU would even suggest strike action? I dont think they'll ever get a vote for strike action ever again.

Starting this autumn

Which is wrong
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

TBH, I feel the union is pretty much finished, I don't see them having anything like the clout/power they use to have in the work place. It will be like: RM: We work with the CWU, but totally ignore anything they say or do.

I like that above plan, maybe with a few tweaks here and there, for example, remove the 1 and 2 class rate, have a single class, that is priced half way between 1 and 2, and be delivered within 2 days.

You would have thought at the bare minimum the union would have protected our T&C's, but No, they had other plans.

Ward needs to quite (be voted out) firstly.

Only other option is to have a vote on having an entirely new union leading us, lost faith in CWU.
