It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Wonder what if anything we can read into this.
The union will likely know by now what the early indication is for the result of the ballot. Although there's still plenty of time to vote I would imagine a big chunk are in already.

Will this meeting have two different potential guest lists?

Will it be celebration cake or humble pie on the menu?

I would hope they at least have the self awareness not to turn this into a big celebration party if it’s a yes vote.
But then who am I kidding, this is Ward and his gang so of course it will be big cheers claps and lots of back slapping all round.

If anything it seems they are betting on a yes vote as I doubt very much they would hold a national briefing a full two weeks after the vote result is announced if there is any indication it has been rejected.

There's no doubt it'll be a big yes vote in my opinion.

We're all too tired and worn down by it all, and the lump sum too attractive.

Big win for Royal Mail, and will signal the rapid end for the CWU and "Postal Worker" as a profession (rather than just a casual job)

The lump sum means f**k all
Blood money for all the pain you will get coming to you if it’s a yes vote
And their is NO guarantee RM will pay out £900 watch this space
Yes vote I’m out CWU and will fight my own corner from now on

I said it would be a 70% Vote Yes. I am sticking by that prediction.
This National Briefing indicates to me that early return ballot papers are running a high Yes vote.

More fabricated, unsubstantiated, nonsense.
