I think the point Postman was trying to make has gone over your head or you've deliberately misinterpreted it.

The difference is, this *is* your site. We are all visitors here and should comply with your rules. It is to your credit that you allow pretty much free rein, but personally I think the abuse should be cracked down on. I couldn’t give a toss, as it all flies over my head, but I have received PMs from (now former) members who have left the site because of it. That isn’t on.

We also have people posting unsubstantiated rumour as fact here, which is a dangerous thing to allow during a crucial vote on all of our futures. Such posts have again been reported, but nothing is done.

10 years in the military? Well we all know what a bullying, sexist, racist, homophobic environment that was/ still is. How is it intimidating posting something on an internet forum? Is that what you do in real life when someone says something you disagree with and you feel intimidated? Bring up your career in the military? Bravo!
