Council education under conduct procedure

Post by Ciderboy1957 »

Hi folks , I was " councilled " under conduct procedure a few months ago for accidentally misdeliverying a tracked item , got it back and delivered to correct address , manager is alleging I have mis delivered again !
What is next steps if it is proven so.
Thanks

I'm no expert but I think they can enforce "punishments" such as putting you on a serious warning, one of ours was put on a 2 year serious due to being caught twice scanning specials not delivered rather than breaking off to get there on time, I assume if you're on a serious warning and you reoffend then you can be up for dismissal.

Knowing this bunch a warning probably, we are human mistakes happen and hopefully you won't make the mistake for a third time.
Never really thought about how many times i have delivered to the wrong address, maybe a few times in 16yrs, but i have done it many many times and caught myself on at the doorstep, usually before i hand it over but sometimes not and i have to shamefully knock the door again and fetch it back.

I'm not, you asked what the next step was after counselling and I suggested a possible scenario if they wanted to punish you further.
