Situation with annual leave and giving notice

There is a chance I could be leaving the business at the end of August. By then I will have taken 4 of my 6 weeks leave with less than 5 months of the leave year gone. Are they likely to tell me that I owe them holiday? Although I don’t know how that actually works!

I would have thought you probably do. I would go see the book room they can tell you more.

hi, i have just retired at 65, last week had no wages at all ie £0.00 after overbooking holiday this year, manager had pre warned me pleased to say so it seems legit, still owe them £95.00, sweet

You earn annual leave on pro rata basis. So if you;ve used more than you should have when you leave, you'll owe them.
If you've used less, they'll owe you.
