Jesus can you imagine if they did renage on the bribehans solo wrote: ↑25 Jun 2023, 10:30You are not getting £900 you f***ing muppets
It’s taxed at higher rate and pro rata
Your money went into pension fund to create escrow account
And RM statutory payments into pension fund
The escrow account is surplus money we created
Not for RM to spunk away to bribe the simpletons
You have already earned this account to protect your future pension
When it goes BOOM
And after this agreement they will come for more
Pension being one of them
If the yes vote carries I hope to f**k they renage on their bribe
I will piss myself laughing
Oh and airport workers just got a 15% -17% rise

Oh Damn, thought he'd found a job that pays £17p/h that you need no qualifications for and the hours are 5am-1pm with no Saturdays and every sick instance paid in full. I was looking forward to see who offers such a job.

Right iv worked for RM for over 35 years and if anyone with that kind of dust under their badge who is being honest with themselves have had a bloody good job. But that's was then. It's with a very heavy heart I'm voting YES not because it's a great deal.. it's a s**t deal but it's a deal all the same.. the sick had to change because of the piss takers over the years who have spoilt it for the rest of us. Start times and finish times have changed mine have.. but let's get realistic voting no says no confidence in our union.. yes we probably don't anyway but a I NO vote crushes the union and then we are all screwed because then they know we have no where to turn. So get off your high horses and vote yes..

Re: How much redundancy do we get when RM goes broke?
Just like how we got taxed on the holiday payments? How about the back pay of all the pay rises we've had in the past? Any pay rise we have is subject to tax, that's how it's always been and anyone voting on this would know this. The airport workers would be the exact same. If the vote is no then fair enough, it's a s**t deal no disputing that. But, if it's a yes then that would mean people are just sick and tired of being left in limbo whilst company does what it wants with or without the union. It's that simple. People expecting this union I don't think realise how badly beaten they are if they themselves are asking member's questions like, "what's plan b" or "and then what?" You's don't stand a chance without a strike and these guys look unlikely to call on one anytime soon. Don't see the company even entertaining anymore talks. It's up to you if you want to stick around or not.hans solo wrote: ↑25 Jun 2023, 10:30You are not getting £900 you f***ing muppets

Re: How much redundancy do we get when RM goes broke?
Get your facts right. Higher rate tax begins on earnings over £50000. You must be working hours and hours of ot if your £900 is going to be taxed at the higher rate. Pensions are protected by law so RM cannot touch any of that. Say something that makes sense to convince people to vote no.hans solo wrote: ↑25 Jun 2023, 10:30You are not getting £900 you f***ing muppets
