Why would he be working till 4.30pm when he's been told not to go by his time,a panic merchant that can't get to sleep at night if his frames not clear perhaps very strange.

Perhaps management thinking here is that the postie was told not to work past their finish time After their finish time they were driving a royal mail vehicle out of hours and therefore uninsured?

Plenty at our place drive vans home or do the big shop in them. If they were uninsured after certain hours you’d think managers would not let them take the vans.

Must just be deliveries, AFAIK there's no overtime ban in MCs. They've just cut right back on the use of casuals/agency so any OT ban would just guarantee failures as soon as it picks up a bitJohn james wrote: ↑26 Jun 2023, 18:43U been living under a rock mate. Canna be an overtime ban, that would go against the agreement and the joint statement, improving the quality of service and delivering the USO is the plan to win back customers according to Ward Mcaully and McPhersonJohn james wrote: ↑26 Jun 2023, 18:43U been living under a rock mate.
