HR Email Addresses

Post by CHUCKYPIG »

Greetings all

Does anyone know the email address of the "immediate leavers team"?

Failing that any other useful royal mail HR email addresses?

My last day working for royal mail was last Saturday just gone (17th June). Upon handing in my notice my manager said I couldn't take my owed annual leave I would have to take it as pay at the end so I said okay no worries will do. Wednesday of my last week I checked my pay and it wasn't there so I went to find my manager and people said oh she's off for the rest of the week. I had seen her on Monday she hadn't said goodbye, all the best etc. Just gone. She did this with the last person who left, as soon as they handed in their notice refused to speak to them again. Like she took it personally on her that we are all leaving. The rest of the posties at my delivery office are really nice people and I had a really good send off down the pub on Saturday. But the manager at that place leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I find her behaviour unprofessional, childish and vindictive but I don't care anymore about my ex manager I just want the money that is owed to me.

So I phone HR and they say that my manager should have sent them a remaining annual leave calculation but she didn't. They said contact her on Monday as she just needs to send an email to the immediate leavers team so they can calculate it but approval needs to come from my manager. So on Monday (just gone) I phone her and leave a voicemail, no reply, send an email, no reply. I phone HR on Tuesday and they say she hasn't done it.

I want an email address for HR as I don't want to keep waiting 10-15 mins after phoning 03456060603 to get a different member of staff telling me what I already know. I want to put what has happened in writing so it is on a record so that I can raise it at a higher level if needed. I just want the money owed to me. I shouldn't have to keep phoning the helpline and chasing a manager that is ignoring me. HR should be sorting this out.

Any advice or email addresses welcome. Thanks.

Hiya mate, if you have someone who deals with holidays and pay at your old office, get in touch with them. Took 3 or 4 weeks to get mine. Shower of sh***s! They will know what holidays you are owed. It’s then just a case of them sending an email.I resigned and going to a tribunal. Good luck in the future and smart move.

I can't understand why this has to be dealt with "manually" surely HR can see on the psp system the amount of holiday pay you are owed.
