the deal the CWU got for BT workers was supposed to be totally s**t as well, yet it was voted in. they seem to be in the habit of making s**t deals. or it could be the CWU are just too weak with the current leaders.

The union has been out thought & out fought by rm and if this deal is rejected then they might come back with everything they wanted and just impose it. Don’t really know were we go from here. Don’t think striking will work they will flood the place with agency workers & no doubt staff will be reluctant to go out for anything over a couple of days. Just my thoughts

if its rejected you think RM will impose a £30 per week pay increase on us? i think they will impose another 2% if they are feeling generous. dont know about the rest, but if it IS rejected Ward and Fury need to fall on their swords.

Totally agree with that. We need people with a bit more up top to take on Royal Mail. They employed union busting lawyers/ companies to basically destroy the cwu so they really need to up there game.
