Yet another example of no consistency, we've also got an overtime ban next week, manager was informed yesterday.

OVERTIME BAN IMPOSED BY ROYAL MAIL NEXT WEEK - you have been warned !
Since the real hot issue is quality of service and the business is massively understaffed I very much doubt it, there's so much overtime at my place next week they can't find enough warm bodies to cover it.
Our overtime ban was this week Woody, it appears they may be doing this office by office rather than all out. Not a second of OT at ours this week.

Not that I do any.
Is there any next week.

Total ban until next month ... So he says.
The office is rammed full of failed frames.
But we are hitting 🎯's over 96% .
All about the tracked.

He'll be begging us to do OT before Tuesday.
But . He will do as his boss tells him.

7 years for me. I had one beg and plead me to go over with a promise and kisses. Then never paid me... If it wasn't for that it would be 12 years.

Why are we having an overtime ban? Have I missed something?

Is it because Royal Mail wants to make sure we all vote no on the deal by reminding us what a set of clueless clowns they are?

To be fair to them my managers have paid me overtime on all but one occasion (when it was quickly raised and sorted). It’s the farcical holiday pay agreement that made me decide to stop. Feel much better for it.

Get that people need the money, but whole business is technically run by overtime. It's probably one of the reasons why it's in the state it's in. Anyone person that either off sick, on leave, or just decides not to do it for whatever reason and the place is f****d completely. You have people in our unit that management give overtime to and all sorts of shenanigans happen. You have people paid in the morning to do sorting but half of the have already throw in their walks before the rest of the staff have even walked through the door, some even bagged up and loading up their vans. Then, you have ghosting overtime too. The entire management needs looking into and need more staff in so you don't have to rely on certain people to play ball with. That's what will guarantee the USO being somewhat sustainable.

Why payment in September? That's a question that needs answering aswell
Think its when the trustee is releasing it and it'll be after the ballot.

There is no overtime ban. We are short staffed and management are begging people to work their days off.
