Sick Pay and IHR
We’ve had a few coms from the Union and I mean only a few on what brilliant achievements they’ve got in the negotiations, which are all backward steps to where we were before industrial action. They come from a point of what RM originally wanted which was the whole purse.
I notice though that on all their fine achievements they never mention the row back in sick pay and IHR. They never should have agreed to either of these, bigger walks for longer hours later in the day are all going to impact our health and now they’ve agreed to take some our safety net away.
Don’t mention any of that though will you, disgrace.

It is a complete disgrace especially as we will be needing the odd day off here and there to recover from working longer in the winter and flexing in the summer heat.

Ihr reduced to 13 grand from 22 is a disgrace knowing the job is going to get harder for deliveries you will not realise that you may need this until you reach 30 plus years a total sell out on this by the union thats why I will vote no

I'm still waiting to hear a single good concrete reason, why any postal worker in deliveries would vote for such a terrible deal.

Re: Sick Pay and IHR
Well IHR was a good option but not now we could sue for work related stress or injury as the payment is but three months of pay why not have a day in court this could bite RM in the arse as courts are more generous than themselves!

Re: Sick Pay and IHR
A big reason why I am voting no
Once its gone its gone forever and despite what some might say, these contractual changes cannot be made without our agreement
I am so disappointed in some I thought better of on here going along with, and helping to perpetuate, the idea that this can be brought in whether we like it or not
''but you arent an employment expert''

If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Some on here think just because they say something everything will change or we can halt it with words it is not words that convey action but action and actions!

Re: Sick Pay and IHR
All of course why it would be daft to vote in the shambles deal.
And once they get this passed, they will be back for more crumbs sooner rather than later on the race to the gig one contract workforce.
Never mind the doom bot yessers will be along shortly to tell us its all internet bollox and at least its still a job

Exactly they can not discriminate against you because of age so there will be a lot of posties breaking down looking for indoor work, you just cant spit someone out nowadays because they are old.

Hello,......... Union...... Is there anybody out there!
Nope.
We are supposed to be voting on a deal reached.
Can we!
Nope.
Can we talk about it at least!
Nope.
But we pay you to do our bidding! Be reasonable!
Nope.
Feck...... s**t deal anyway.
