a manager told us they went to a workers house the day they called in sick, noting their car was at home where it shoud be. Is this allowed, or in conflict with a weeks self cert? What if the car was in the next street due to parking issues etc? This seems quite invasive to me

Is the manager a traffic warden as well as a doctor and policeman! Think nothing of it there is laws of invasion of privacy tell them if you did the same you could get arrested. Harassment is unwanted attention if he persists in the actions report him if he does it twice they will lock him up!

Intrusion harassment invasion of privacy use these words and use a recording device ie a phone and take them to court!

Arranged for the area Rep to come in with us, probably overkill and it wont make a blind bit better f difference but thought I'd ask him anyhow

Have got off stage 1 being issued in presence of area rep although quite a few years ago good luck.

Area Rep can no longer attend guess he has bigger fish to fry, he said the screw will issue it anyway no matter what so I said I'll go in alone then if that's the case.

Never been to one before in my 30 years! Is it a case of sign here and off you go?
