DO is now terrible for morale, everybody down, no joking around and worse is the backstabbing and 'I'm alright Jack' attitude. Especially noticeable these past three months

Ghost overtime still happens at ours or the work doesn't get done, we have people working till 4pm heavier days and not claiming aswell as people that have packets and first letters in the frames at 7am!!

Everyone is just past the point of caring. Been going past rounds with mountains of mail of people that are either on wally weeks or annual leave so they will end up with a week worth of mail to attend to on a period where they should be fully rested.

Managers have completely checked out too, some who just go off with stress, others just focusing on the parcels, not really questioning about what mail gets leaved anymore. Neither the senior management nor union can't read the room and it's completely baffling considering how long this has gone on for. It's a shambles, both of them need to sort themselves out cuz they have failed the workers. There are even new starters now side eyeing when actually asked to do mail after being made to cover tracked parcels on rounds that haven't been out. It's a culture that has been standardized by RM and the union for basically allowing this practice to be the norm for YEARS, no matter how oblivious they claimed to be with the Joint Statement....or should I say Statements now?
