I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I don't like what this post person has done but I think every post person should drive back to there office if they have to go to toilet and u don't have to use ur lunch break to do it as its a basic rite that u have toilet facilities with in ur employment

Yep somebody at ours got sacked 3 years ago for this, even with a medical note about his bladder from the doctor.
Like the other person said, just drive back to office it's a basic right.

I would think a reminder of his/her responsibilities, a slap on the wrist and moved onto a vacant round for a short while would suffice in this situation.

You cant win with royal mail,go back the office for a pee they would want to discipline you for wasting time ,go to a local toilet a mile from delivery you get dragged in the office for being off route and pda data showing your sat still that's because your having a s**t ,when deliveries got longer years ago it was agreed that all walk logs would have any toilet stops added and the bosses were going to contact businesses to ask if it was possible to use their toilets, but of coarse this agreement was never implemented ,its time the union held them accountable but i wouldn't hold my breath.
