CWU Facebook: The employer has accepted the need for a joint statement and more importantly, a set of agreed actions on these issues.

The joint statement and corresponding Zoom meeting is in place to ensure that we see results and action from what has been agreed between ourselves and the employer.

Reps and managers in attendance on the same call and receiving the same information at the same time is what's different here from previous joint statements.

This is why it's so crucial that we have a joint Zoom meeting with every manager and every rep - so that all these issues are out in the open.

The difference here is that any statement will be launched via a joint zoom meeting of every manager and CWU representative in the UK. All information will be clarified for managers and reps, and at the same time.

What's important is that we keep moving forward and we get this right for the ballot to follow.

This is why we are committed to ensuring that reps and managers are provided with the same information at the same time through a joint Zoom meeting. It's something that's never happened before and should bring about huge change.

We want to move on with the ballot as soon as these issues are resolved.

This is about sorting the attacks and if Royal Mail can’t do that then we know they aren’t genuine.

We are working to resolve the issues around revisions that are contributing to the stress levels of our members - and we aim to move forward with the ballot.

So we need another joint statement to tell us that RM and the CWU agreed that a set of actions are to be taken on the agreement they jointly made that are currently not being followed and just as importantly have never been put to the Membership.

our manager called a meeting this morning regarding the revision that has been implemented he is struggling to cover the volume that is been returned to the office on our finish time he asked us is their anything he could implement to make the office run more efficient we were all in agreement keep the duties as they are because this is the only time in the twenty years i have worked at royal mail that nobody finishes early and if anybody wants overtime its plentiful the managers are paid a good salary to manage also the majority of our office will be supporting the union when the ballot comes out.
