CWU Facebook: The employer has accepted the need for a joint statement and more importantly, a set of agreed actions on these issues.

Post by POSTMAN »

Meetings have taken place with Royal Mail Group to discuss the crucial issues of restoring quality of service and reviewing failed revisions.

The employer has accepted the need for a joint statement and more importantly, a set of agreed actions on these issues. It has also been agreed any statement will be launched via a joint zoom meeting of every manager and CWU representative in the UK.

We are meeting the company again today and will report on any developments. We are fully committed to getting this matter resolved in a timely manner to enable the ballot to commence but it is absolutely crucial we get this right - for members, customers and the future of the company.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Absolute cowboys.

Get the ballot out and get the NO vote returned.

A zoom meeting will sort it all :left:

I dont go sick that often but the attendance procedure was a good safety net if you needed it. You knew it was there in case. They want to get rid of this. I would rather give up some of that £500 than see that protection go.

Yeah it's just getting silly how this is dragging on and on, don't get me wrong I'm not having a go at the union, even if the outcome was yeah ok for a start we'll reverse the revisions then how long would that take to restore service to something like normal, can't just put someone on the "lapsed" duties as there is no one.

Bearing in mind USO and Quality of Service failures have been going on for a few years now, there is no way RM are now going to reverse revisions to where they need to be with regards to achieving the USO and Quality of Service expected by 'the customer' and 'the future of the company'.

The money's all gone!

Can't wait for the joint statement and the trust ;liar the CWU are going to try spin at us from it.

Maybe we should all try 'reading the room' :left:
