No its the usual total lack of respect for paying members and is starting to really piss me off now. We were told by Martin that they were meeting with RM today. You would think that the least they could do was to give an update today after all the delay, but no. Nothing again. To be fair to Martin at least he does try and update us when he can.

I don’t know why he bothers, given the moronic abuse he gets on here.

Nobody is abusing anyone. He is in a position of power/influence. The majority on here disagree with his position and have the right to say it. Unlike you "LOU" - we are not a bunch of snowflakes.

Ironically back in the workplace and working with RM so well, theres already been delays in the ballot. Shows you it wont matter whats in the agreement and whether its voted in or not.

Oh so you actually was having a dig at me as well for asking why there was no update.

Lou we pay our union fees. After over a year of this dispute we are still at stalemate. We have all lost a lot of money through striking. The vote is delayed yet again and I'm actually fine with the reason why, but we were told that there was to be yet another meeting yesterday and if nothing came from it then the PEC would be meeting today to decide what to do next.

And here we are, Wednesday night and no communication again. Thing is though its a repetive theme regarding updates and communication that's like a s**t Jazz record that just goes on and on and on.

That's probably the most arrogant statement on here.
What is the stance of the delivery membership?
At most you have around 50 people commenting on here.
At most on the CWU Facebook page around 250.
Out of approximately 70,000 delivery members.

It is also a fact that the most vocal in any debate are not necessarily representative of the majority. That's a fact in any setting whether it's on social media or in your office.

This forum has a long and distinguished history of predicting the result of every agreement ballot and getting it woefully wrong.

That is because the silent majority tend towards accepting the agreement, as a side note most of them stay silent because of the obnoxious behaviour of a lot of people who disagree with them, just saying.

Let us wait until or indeed if a ballot is concluded before we decide what the delivery members stance is.

Take the point about silent majorities voting for christmas.

However the numbers are a tad sqwee wiff, on some of the facebook propoganda there is upto a 1k plus replies.

There is also twitter with several hundred replies.

We have seen large branches kick it into touch also.

Reality is , its a honking deal regardless of your place in the workplace or socials of choice.
