The union are a joke. They agreed to a holiday pay system which screws many people out of holiday pay. I routinely work 50-60 hours a week,but because I was off for a few weeks on one of the 6 months in the period, got zero holiday pay. They agree to these insulting deals.

At least it's better than getting no extra holiday pay which was the case for decades before the agreement. I'm not sure how forum members think anybody else could do a better job when even with annual losses of £1Billion RM were still content for IA to continue.

Just out of interest how much of a payout did you miss out on due to missing that month?

I'm not sure 100%. But when I got holiday pay last year, every week i got at least £100. One of the weeks was actually a £200 payment last year. So I reckon for the 3 weeks I got nothing for, I probably would have got at least 300-400, if I hit every month, because did a lot of overtime despite that.
