Hello. I've just handed in my notice and my new employer wants a reference from my current / latest employer, i.e. royal mail.
They want the reference from HR and they want an email address and a telephone number.
Does anyone know the email address and phone number that i should give?
Cheers

Re: Reference
I don't think RM do references.
If you can find a decent manager (good luck) see if they'll do a phone reference.

References
Can I use Royal Mail as a referee?
Yes, Royal Mail will supply job references directly to any new employer on request by them to thirdpartyenquiries@royalmail.com. You will also need to provide your consent for us to share that information with them. You will receive a template consent form once you have left employment.
The reference will be factual and confirm:
• your dates of employment; and
• your job title.

Re: Reference
Thanks. However I do need the reference before I actually leave royal mail as I have a conditional job offer and they want the reference now to make it unconditional. I have sent them the thirdpartyenquiries@royalmail.com email and hopefully my new employer and royal mail can sort it out between them.
How do I give you consent for you to share the information?

Re: Reference
This is from third party enquiries
“If the person the reference is regarding (i.e. yourself can write a sentence down on paper giving consent, sign it & take a picture with their phone, if we can be sent that picture, that would meet our requirements”
They will provide this while you are still employed.
