Stop worrying about workloads as it stands you still have a start and finish. Leave it in or bring it back. It's not hard. If your not taking the piss invite them out to inspect your performance. Stop stressing. It's not your problem. Running around to clear will enhance the bullying further and more walks will be removed. As for the financial situation that is well and truly out of our control. Killing yourself won't improve that and remember you won't get paid for three days of second absence.

The financial position of the company is, as they keep telling us, their business to run. So if they had any foresight, which I suspect they have had, they will already have plans on how to get the themselves out of the mess they put the company in.
Erm, yeah, it was the agreement. The plans were all in there. The agreement we haven’t been allowed to vote on.
I love how you cherry pick snippets out of posts to suit your own agenda. However, as I said at the end Lou, I don't care...particularly about your opinions. You are entitled to them in exactly the same way that everyone else is. It might serve you better to focus on that....but again, I don't care. 😊

It is not a cop out, nor is it unrealistic.

A trade union cannot have 2 masters. It cannot serve both the company, and the workforce.

This mis-understanding of the role of a trade union, goes some way to explaining why we have the job we have now, and the poorest deal I have ever seen any trade union put to its membership just recently.
Come on. You can’t expect to ask for a pay rise, while requesting to do less work for a company leaking money. That has nothing to do with trade unionism it is just delusion. Reality is, the employer and the union have to be communicating and working together, otherwise what is the purpose of even negotiating at all? The only way you have total non-conformity is if the union calls for all out action indefinitely, which will never happen, because

A) It wouldn’t have enough support amongst the workers
B) It would ultimately sink the company
That makes no sense to me.
Two cheeks of the same arse, is why we are, where we are.
Royal Mail, right now, couldn't wish for a better union to deal with.
The deal is universally regarded as being pure shite.
And whether or not, Thompson and Ward go skipping off together, looking longingly into each others eyes, if this deal ever gets voted in, matters not.
This company will still be in the direst state it's ever been in.
This company is doomed. Just a question of time.
The standard of company executive these days is deplorable.
I wouldn't trust any of them with running a bric-a-brac stall at a jumble sale.

Noticed that myself, auld Lou likes to pick what suits his narrative.
Many times i have said we are only voting on the piece of paper in front of us.
Its nothing to do with us if they are losing a fortune, notice the word "They" not "Us".
As if we are all responsible, RM certainly havent accepted any responsibility and have tried to shove so many different people under the bus they need a bigger bus.

On all this we agree. The deal is shite. The company is f****d because voting against the deal leaves us in an even worse place than voting for it, but we aren’t even being allowed to vote on it anyway, so I don’t know why we are even arguing. It would almost be funny if it wasn’t all of our livelihoods being threatened.

No strike action called after the biggest vote for strike action in the CWU history, because they have secured a deal that we are now being told we can’t vote on anyway. Absolutely calamitous.

It’s should just be put to a vote now. The calamitous revisions and USO failures are here to stay. If the company and the regulator aren’t bothered about the USO and quality of service then why should we be.

I didn’t know it was possible for a company to treat its workforce with such utter disdain.
Every day.
It is truly, truly shocking what it currently going on. I’m not saying this lightly, either.
People are struggling so badly.
Bullied, pressured, threatened, you name it.

All for what? I say that facetiously of course; we all know exactly why.
They hate me & they hate you.

We cost them money.

Those who are still around, try and stay strong folks. It cannot continue this way, one way or the other.

Peace out ✌️
