It's weird. I work at HWDC and some Christmas cards seem to wander the world for months. They're meant to be sent to one country, get missent to another, and then - because the handwriting is bad or the address somewhat or in another language - they're like the lost Dutchman, covered with hopeful scribbles (Canada? Australia? Sri Lanka?)
