Simple being the operative word for you aiden .
We all now it means a definite no .
There is absolutely no evidence to suggest we will go into admin, the financial statement last week when the release horrendous loses says the company has sufficient cash flow and is also asset rich. And that’s before we even look at GLS, which the Govt will force cross funding before it ever contemplates a rescue package/re nationalisation.daveyeff wrote: ↑22 May 2023, 15:33i think everybody...every last one of us KNOWS the deal is absolute shite. even the ones who are going to vote yes. the big debate about it all is, ''its the best they could get'' ....''if we vote no, everything is out the window'' ....''the company WILL go into administration'' ....''the company will bulldoze everything in'' . i totally understand what is being said, but its still a no from me. they had us out for 18 days for just about everything they are now agreeing to. imo the CWU leadership should be fall on their swords, and whatever happens after that, happens,.....it is what it is.
its not me saying they will, its senior management and now some of our reps. the whole lot is farcicalBurghboy wrote: ↑22 May 2023, 16:59There is absolutely no evidence to suggest we will go into admin, the financial statement last week when the release horrendous loses says the company has sufficient cash flow and is also asset rich. I'm pretty sure winning a tribunal has no legal power to force reinstatement. You would just get compensated for unfair dismissal.redlen wrote: ↑20 May 2023, 18:48Reps have been dismissed, won their NAP Appeal, yet Royal Mail refuses to reinstate them.
That is why these so-called independent reviews of suspended/dismissed reps are nothing more than smokescreen and mirrors.
Have no doubt some reps deserve to be dismissed with their conduct but the CWU have just thrown them to the wolves and washed their hands of them. After such conduct very much doubt any new rep would volunteer for the position with a big target on their back and no support.
