I'm surprised that it's not happened sooner in DOs. RM seem to be ramming through revisions up and down the country and they don't seem to be taking any notice of the union

why would they? Ward and Fury have showed them how weak they are.

Local action has nothing to do with how weak Ward and Fury might be.

No.
nonetheless RM have seen how weak the union is,so either way they won't take any notice, be it local or otherwise. this is still one big shitstorm.

How come this hasnt spread? Late 80s or could have been early 90s an office near us walked out, their mail was diverted to us , we refused to touch it and we were all suspended

There are several managers travelling to Glasgow tomorrow, from as far away as Devon. Flights all paid for and even some staff members asked in my office but not told it was to cross a picket line.
Flights leaving Gatwick at 7am and out on delivery by 10am in Glasgow.. hmmm., no thanks. Also shows Royal Mail see this walkout to be ongoing so have put money in to break the resolve.
