Someone said you get no pay for the last week?
Also I've taken one week's holiday (6 days) how much of this will I have to pay back - I think 4 days maybe as we accrue 1 day per month or something. How do they collect it ?
Thanks

Re: Last week at royal mail
You are paid for the week you are working, only overtime us paid the following week. If this is your last week, you will be paid as normal on Friday.
You accrue just under two days for each month worked, if you are on the minimum entitlement. So by the end of this week you'll possibly have at least 5 days entitlement. If you owe anything they may deduct it this week, or write to you after you have left.
If you used the RM App make sure you print or screenshot anything you need from it. Access to it is removed on your last day.

Why do so many say you get nothing on your last week? As we aren't paid in arrears. Confused. Thank you for taking the time to answer btwfb1969 wrote: ↑16 May 2023, 19:52You are paid for the week you are working, only overtime us paid the following week. In 99% of jobs you work a week in hand, so if you leave on a Friday then you'll still have another wage to come the following weekNewpoet wrote: ↑16 May 2023, 19:58Why do so many say you get nothing on your last week? When people say you'll get nothing in your last week I think they're just not explaining themselves correctly.
As has been said, your last wage will be in the week you leave & any overtime/leave ( if applicable) will be paid the following week.
