What is the Unions' solution to the state a lot of DOs are in?

The Union say we should accept this agreement (I'm voting 'NO' by the way) and yet the walks are now impossible to complete, with mail/parcels not going out for many days.

Is this how the Union want the walks to be and for us post men and women to put up with this for the years to come, post men and women having to put up with stacked trays and bags of mail every working day that we cannot get on top of?

There will be no workforce if it carries on like this, a lot of us will be going sick with mental health issues!

I doubt the Union even care!

Afraid the work wont die down as they claim. Guess to complete we would be still going around 530-6 pm and knackered. A fraudulent failure of the uso, and a massive failure from the union who are meant to be on our side. To be fully staffed again, on workable duties MUST be the preferred option surely ?

The problem is the Union have kicked the Delivery Can down the road for to many years.
Definitely in the 37 years I have been at RM.

Mainly to appease other special interest groups.

My walk is in such a mess the other day time i got out i done 2 bags,what a great service it wont be long before customers leave in their droves and they wont have a parcel company left

The union are just as big an embarrassment as the men at the top are.

We have a small office of about 20 deliveries. A lot of us work days off, daily overtime and are continuedly short staffed, either by people leaving, sick leave or the very slow process of bringing in new staff.
We have a union rep and a health and safety rep who are constantly away on "union business" never doing delivery and never doing what they are actually paid by Royal Mail to do. Should they be released if there is no cover? Should the union not be covering the extra wages/overtime involved in these work shy employees deliveries, who instead love going round drinking cups of tea and passing empty folders of bull sh*t about?

If the office is small when peeps stop working OT/days off and just do contracted hours then deliveries start failing they'll soon get some staff in.
Or they might not - but that's management's problem.

The work never goes down on delivery, they absorb the work goes up. Deliberately under staffed to save a fortune on wages, but no one to deliver.
Managers say on a light mail day... You can do it. It's light. But prioritised packets are through the roof and there's three days mail in those frames.
No staff you d heads.

Cwu should be telling management revision should be smaller walks then now.

We were told by our rep that any disagreement to the revision won’t be dealt with unless it’s a yes vote.

Our once good office what cleared everyday is now failing the majority of the walks and losing experienced staff on a weekly basis. Every week they ask people to come work on their rest days or weeks.

My delivery is now a minimum of 4:30 on a quiet day and over 5 hours on a slightly busy day if I have more than a tray of mech I know I’m not getting done.
