Hi. I had 22.5hrs remaining on my allowance a few weeks ago and due to the strikes I had around 5hrs taken off me which left me with 17.5hrs left when I looked in December
Today I have looked for the first time since December and now I only have 7 hrs remaining so 10.5hrs have disappeared.
However in January my manager gave me a 35hr contract from 30hrs so I'm wondering if this is the reason why I have lost remaining allowance???? For example I have a week booked off on December 25th for a week which took 22.5hrs off me (due to the bank holidays) but now it's taken 28hrs off me.
Is my contract rise the reason why I have had a further 10.5 allowance remaining taken off me??

Logically yes, but you'd need to check the increase in hours deducted from your entitlement
against the contract upgraded days you've taken leave for over the full year
to confirm it to your own satisfaction and that you're not being diddled.

Re: Holiday allowance remaining dropped on app
This year's leave should reflect whatever your allowance is for a 35 hour contract as the leave year started April which of course is after your 35 hour contract began so for example if you're due 4 weeks leave then 35 X 4 = 140 hours.
Is the difference because you had a holiday that was booked in last year's leave but you took it after January when you got made up to 35 hours so you needed to use more hours to take the week off ?
