Conduct coded for not working hard enough??

This is literally happening to me, word for word, right now.
I’m one of the quicker ones in the office too.
Can’t complete since the revision hardly. Too big.
Manager on case every day.

Same happening in my office,most of us getting hassle off the manager every day,coping OK at the moment with the,I will do what I can but I will be bringing loops back at my finish time routine,but the place is starting to feel like a pressure cooker and it's going to blow soon,people will end up suspended or sacked,maybe that's what they want

What's the previous duty holder achieved as being unable to complete 50% of a duty, after a week or so of doing it, does seem a bit odd, anything less than 75% would raise eyebrows in my own DO.

Previous duty holder has took VR, he was a fulltimer who came in earlier than he should (without pay) to do IPS and of course prep his own duty too PLUS the revisions were not in then, he of course completed every day

He was not a liked bloke shall we say!

I hate the way they try and compare your performance with someone else's, normally using the Relief as an example.

"Well Fred can do it time" ... But as you say Fred's coming in early for FREE, Not taking any MR, Cutting Corners, Speeding through Villages, Doorstepping, Signing for Items himself, Scanning letter boxes from Barcodes on his phone, putting mail he doesn't want to deliver back in the letterbox, delaying more mail by bringing it back to the office and stuffing it in the IPS frame for tomorrow...... But he's a Good Postie because he completes every day

I get the feeling most Managers know they've cocked up the Revisions .... and they're Not Deliverable .... But their Boss is now on their backs (because they've lied and told him everything's working fine, can I have my Bonus now please)? Next step is to blame the Posties for not working fast enough.

They forget they're the same Posties that used to be able to complete ... For Decades before .... until ST and his cronies went Nuclear

I got suspended already. Not happened before. Threatens me again recently. It’s bullshit. What am I meant to do? I even stay out sometimes to complete then moans about me booking OT.

I heard a colleague of mine was threatened with this today, is it possible?

They were at it hammer and tongs, pretty upsetting to see really and the union Rep was doing sweet FA i was told

The colleague in question is the hardworking type, (not slow in my opinion) and a nice person not that means anything but lets just say they don't take the pish and always try their best every day.

The colleague reckons the screw has a personal issue with them as the walk they had was removed in the revision.

The colleague has recently signed for the duty (rural) and it has since gone through a revision which has added 100+ drops to it and apparently the person can't achieve 50% of it which the screw thinks is a conduct code issue ( Rep agrees, 50% "is a reasonable request")

Thoughts? I thought it was disgraceful the way the screw went about it, verged on bullying and harassment in my opionion.

The whole isle witnessed it and we all agreed it was bang out of order, we stopped short of saying anything and to be honest we all maybe should have.

We left it to the Rep to sort which was nothing short of a disgrace.
