And…this a a huge company with 115,000 workers (granted they are not all lurking on here) but if each one were to donate you just £1 on your “gofundme”
page then you would be very wealthy indeed without any checking or background scrutiny.
(not saying this case is not genuine but it needs some sort of official verification before thousands of pounds are handed over on the basis on 1 unsubstantiated emotive post)

Yes quite, but without verification of previous 6 month absence in the previous year (and quite rightly it is confidential) then the claim of “RM being twats” for not paying (beyond 12 months sick pay) falls very hollow.
Oh get a life. If you’re that bothered don’t donate. I’m relatively new so I was unaware of the four year policy but after speaking to colleagues I was made aware. But on the other hand you don’t know how the way the situation has been dealt with and that’s why i called them twats because the way that themselves and occupational health have dealt with the situation is absolutely disgusting. But it’s still just the same response from me. Don’t donate then, I posted the link and post and a lot of generous and lovely people donated and no one is forcing you to make a comment or donate or anything like that, so just don’t? If you read the post and the first thought you have is oh why has she been off for a year, then don’t bother commenting. She’s been giving more bad news and could have months to live so we don’t need to be questioned about our friends medical history just leave it now
