Re: Bank Holiday - Question
Isn't the 2 day contract , 4 bank holidays this year ?KernowDeth wrote: ↑27 Apr 2022, 21:49Anyone know how many BH you get for anything other than the 5 or 2 dayvenom wrote: ↑26 Mar 2018, 21:46how many for a 3 day job share thanksrogersh wrote:Your at-a-glance summaries to our employment policies
Bank and public holidays In Royal Mail:
•
If a bank holiday falls on a day you would normally work, you take the day off.
•
If your rest day falls on a bank holiday, your manager will check if workload allows for you to have another day off that week.
•
If you are unable to take another day off, you can either:
add the day to your annual holiday entitlement; or
take the excess hours paid as overtime. This will be paid at the Monday to Saturday overtime rate
•
If you have a part-time contract, your bank holiday allowance will be pro-rated depending on the number of days you work, e.g.:
5 day contract – full entitlement of 8 bank holidays
2 day contract – 3 bank holidays
I am on 20hr contract but work 4 or 5 days a week
My holiday entitlement is 90hrs or 22.5 days so I guess I am on a 4 day week 4x22.5=90
Any ideas?
