U should have banded the letters to the packets. U could have got rid of most of the letters

No mail delivered on our duty today, either side. Had to take back the bit we thought we'd get done. Just about got the packets and absorption done. Great new system! More and more days like this and we're having another 3 walks taken out later this month!

It does add some time now having to faff about with PDA scanning to core route. Especially if you know that you're never gonna get around to doing them and then having to scan as delivery not attempted when you get back to office.

Yeah that's what I meant, ones got 650 the other 600 or so, just saying doing the mail for the same address as the parcels wouldn't make much of a dent in the mail, there's 3 duties that didn't get delivered today at our place, apart from parcels obviously, when I got back to look at the fittings they look rammed and that's with the mail being banded to the parcels that got done.

Wow that sounds horrendous d2ds must be shite, round my way it's mainly estates with gates/driveways/steps/paths plus some "posher" larger detached houses all long drives, with that many calls you've got I'd hope the whole duty is like coronation street or how the f*** are you supposed to do it.

How did they clear after strike days then as a lot of delivery posters claimed.

We were awash with Agency workers during strike weeks
