Monday 8th May - non service day

Post by dazer0070 »

Just some advice please.

I’m on annual leave next week but have a full week allocation taken (44.4 hrs Wally week hours)

Surley no annual leave should be used against Monday though? Would I be correct in thinking that?

Cheers

You should have the hrs taken off annual leave that you should have been working that week MINUS Monday's hrs as it's a national bank holiday.

Thanks.

So 44.4 minus 6.45, meaning 37.95 should have been taken.

It's a bank holiday, not a non service day.

Have you checked on the people app? It's showing next Monday as a public holiday, coincidentally I've got a forthcoming week off on a different week with a bank holiday in it and the people app only shows the working days deducted, 4 days in my case as I'm on a regular 5 day week.

It's definitely showing as a public holiday, look at the key at the bottom you'll see it's underlined with a sort of grey colour as is the previous may day Monday.

In our office we normally get the option of taking a bank holiday on leave as a lieu day or overtime payment. They come round and ask about 2 weeks beforehand
