You can't do the school run at 9 and pick up at 3. The day's of going home after you're first delivery, taking the kids to school, then getting back to do the sorting before you're second delivery are long gone.

Yes, how have other people ever coped with having kids and working? Consider yourself lucky that you have escaped later finishes before now. We have had 15.30 finishes for years now, which has meant some of us have had to make alternate plans for fetching kids, like parents do in literally every other job out there.

Nobody is forced to do anything, and yes those finish times were imposed. We didn’t choose them.

There are already offices doing what everybody is squabbling about on here. After the latest "revision" my office now has 3.30pm finishes on Wednesday and Thursdays. We've also had 3.00pm finishes on every day, except Mondays and Tuesdays since park and loop started in 2010. Yes, including Saturdays.

Alot of offices haven't got them later times yet including my office but it is coming soon as our revision happens.

Current times 7-1428, (Mon,Tues, Fri) 7-1448 (wed Thur) 7-1420 (sat) rurals 930 -1630 I think. So add maximum 1 hour means I'd finish 1548 at latest. That is not a 430 last letter time. We await more changes with interest (CWU silence)
