How many calls?
How many calls have your frames got after this revision? Or if you are a reserve what’s the biggest duty you’ve seen? Got about 850 as it stands.

Think the DOs locally are merging some walks. Some of the sequencing batches have suddenly got half the number of walks on them with no sign of walks having been moved to other batches

Re: How many calls?
Just curious, but would you have any idea why a certain batch number would always come mislabelled on the same 2 days every week? operator error or could it be software issues?SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 07:32Think the DOs locally are merging some walks. Re: How many calls?
Not really about the calls though is it? Everyone knows that. It's about how long the walk took to do before as opposed to after the revision and how much time it added on. Some in our office which were always close to being on time have had over an hr added on. Which clearly isn't working. Just taking it out and bringing it back , which just adds to the next day prepping it back in again
No worries. Start time /finish time . Should be all posties new mantra.

Wonder if the local MC sequences that batch on an iLSM or IMP on them days. The CSS machines get the batch updates downloaded automatically, but the iLSMs and IMPs the batch updates have to be manually downloaded. Do you get different looking labels depending on what day it is?scoobymunster wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 10:48Just curious, but would you have any idea why a certain batch number would always come mislabelled on the same 2 days every week? operator error or could it be software issues?SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 07:32Think the DOs locally are merging some walks. No it's the usual labels, but that york always has Duty A label on Duty R's sequenced, Duty B label on Duty F's sequenced etc. As I say, it's odd but it happens the same 2 days every week and it's just that specific batch number so very confusing!

Re: How many calls?
Sounds like it's probably operator error but it's strange that it's always the same batch every time. Wonder if there's an issue with the labels and one operator just labels them up in the order that they're printed and another knows the correct order. Is it just out of sync by one? It might be that the first walk is a PO Box one that doesn't get anything on them days. I personally wish that whoever writes the batch sort plans could have it so that any walk that gets very little mail or is a PO Box one is at the end. The batch plans aren't written in MCs anymore, they get written in some central office, I'm guessing Sheffieldscoobymunster wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 12:25No it's the usual labels, but that york always has Duty A label on Duty R's sequenced, Duty B label on Duty F's sequenced etc. As I say, it's odd but it happens the same 2 days every week and it's just that specific batch number so very confusing!

Re: How many calls?
So when the bit of lapsed delivery is added to your frame and you also get the mech .How will it work for the D2Ds? You could have 6 to throw in on Your “own” round but You May need say 6 different ones for your lapsing bit
