It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

So basically they have postponed some of the chances for a year or so.

Its an hour later….. for now.

Either way, this is the deal, there is no better deal. Might as well get used to it.

Proposed start time means absolutely nothing
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Interesting comment...

'Maximum of 1 hr'
The agreement says that it can go up to 90 minutes
You've also already added seasonal hours and flexing on top of that, so your statement is completely false.
A bit like getting profit-share 'in the future of RM' (small-print = 2 yrs only)
We aren't idiots. Please stop treating us like idiots.

It’s either 90 minutes or 60 minutes. Which is it?

It's not a maximum of 1 hour, it'll depend on changes to arrival times into inward MCs and how that impacts on the lorries doing the wave 2 runs to DOs

So this ballot is to be announced when? May? June?… if it’s a NO can the CWU still go on strike with the last strike ballot or would they need to do another ballot?

Out of 1250 Delivery units 330 will finish before 15:00 ,468 before 15:30 and 347 before 16:00. This is based on Wednesday traffic so the highest traffic so other days will be less and there are then only 109 units up to 16:30 mostly rural who currently have a last letter of 16:30.

The joint working groups will review mail centre processing and dispatch windows to reduce this further.

Every member will know their start and finish times for their unit in advance of the Ballot.

And is this set to change in 2024?

How does this affect people on parcel routes? Some at our place have been told they need to change their 7am starts to 11am to accommodate LATs into the DPR

Would be helpful if Dave Ward and co actually did a live video where they cleared a lot of questions up.
There’s lots of conflicting facts and figures being spouted around.

All of that is going to be done. Lots of wrong information going around.

A lot of the issues like start times will be revealed next week.

So basically hoping the 330 units are going to sell out the rest?
