Re: Tony Bouch - PEC Member in a personal capacity
The deep cut is the union executive knew that they were fighting for themselves.
They could have told us that.
Instead they told us they were fighting for us.
We may have fought harder, less strikebreakers crossing the lines, less voluntary Sunday workers, less family members coming in.
If only they told the truth.
They could have told us that.
Instead they told us they were fighting for us.

That one really does piss me off.Acca Dacca wrote: ↑26 Apr 2023, 07:56Another one parroting Royal Mail in using the term “paid at SSP” rather than “unpaid”
Coming from the Union too? Wow.
“They will pay you at SSP!”
Making it sound like it’s reasonable…
SSP for first 3 days is ZERO.
This is purely to get the vote of people/members who are non the wiser.
F’in disgraceful.

Good one Clash. Why on earth would Simon say that?clashcityrocker wrote: ↑26 Apr 2023, 15:54And the cross subsidy is to stop. That is what Simon said.
Do you not remember that from your research?

I’m getting very tired of this whole “there’ll be no redundancy” line and this is the best we’d get. Did you see the take up on VR?!and that was before this s**t show of a deal.
I’d rather be made redundant and take at least something away.
Then that would mean less subs for the CWU every week wouldnt it.
Look me in the eye and Tell me we’re your priority. I f***ing dare you.

Is Tony Bouchs post, on behalf of the union, an attempt at a Guinness Book Of Records for the longest suicide note in history?

To be honest I ended up skim reading it, far far too long.
I'll add though if he or any of the others want a short sharp reality check then I'd suggest they come and do one of our duties for a week or two then we'll soon see what their "personal capacity" is
