I got back 2 minutes after clocking out time due to heavy traffic, which kills me, I would rather give up one of my limbs then give RM any unpaid time, posties in our office where chucking in D2Ds in there own time & this is after hearing & reading about the s**t rob dog deal, we are truly f****d

If I ever got back late due to traffic (and it hurts. I get you) I always took that time back the next day as extra break. Notice the past tense. Yayyyyy

I think these idiots are totally institutionalissed They used to prep D2Ds in their own time when it was job & finish, and they've just carried on doing it .... even now

Same goes for coming in early FOR FREE! "I need to come in early because I need to get home to fed the dogs Etc Etc" How can any Rep try and improve the situation in their office when they're being undermined by these idiots? Doesn't bode well for the future.

I loved the "Old" D2D system where you got paid per item with different pay rates. You could make a bit of money. Unfortunately it was Voted away, in the small print, by idiots that the fell for the old "£500 Bunge" ...... Perhaps there's a moral in that story?

It wasn't in any small print. It was loud and clear in the agreement.
People voted for it as part of a much larger agreement but it was the sensible thing to do. With declining mail volumes putting D2D into workload was a no brainer.
The fact the CWU managed to also save the money being paid out for D2D was a bonus.

With the old system of payment per item I wouldn't make half what I do from the Delivery Supplement.

I'm quite surprised by that Clash. So the £27.14 is a better deal than you used to get?

I always used to average at least £30-£40, and sometimes a lot more. We had a local paper that used to pay 3p an item!

yeah were all different i average 4 or 5 ive had the odd week with none but thats rare.

This week I received 5 items of d2d to be delivered, 3 of which were double glazing companies.

I don't look at them. I couldn't tell you what the 4 door to doors I delivered today were for. Could have been windows, Sky, Asda or Durex, I just don't waste my time looking. I get paid to put one through every door so I do.

Same here, I don't care if they're for escort agencies, sex toys or sexy underwear I just deliver them.

How much did you make when you were on annual leave, sick leave or on weeks where you had no d2d?
