1500 back on table

Post by jtshocka »

It's a total shambles of a so called negotiation royal mail have got everything they went after any little bit they may have missed they will get next year . 6% and 500 you will get on allowance but top brass at cwu need to get the lump sum of 1500 hundred back to have any chance of getting a yes vote through what an absolute sell out of our loyal members

Are some people being deliberately thick as mince ? you get MORE with 6% this year as it is pensionable and flows through to Overtime.

6% this year please. I dont trust the business to honour it in the future. Example 35hr week.

Thick or stupid some people are. If the two options were still on the table, someone leaving the business with £1500 + 2% this year would be better off than the £500 and 6%. Hindsight is a great thing but the big money has now gone.

I not interested in rewarding people who are leaving, that's been happening for far too long.

Definitely the bigger rise over a bigger lump sum these scumbags will find a way out of the 6% next year else with more 🎻 style business going under etc.

But while we are on the subject some of what's been agreed on our behalf isn't justified by any percentage payrise or lump sum bribe!

I understand people voting no because the deal is rubbish.

I understand people voting yes because the deal is rubbish but they think a no vote will ultimately lead to a worse outcome.

What I don’t understand is someone who would vote no to the proposed deal but would change their mind and vote yes if the lump sum was £1500 with 2% this year and 6% next year. (Unless they plan to quit the job in the near future)

So they can book a holiday they can't afford and show off on Facebook....

I know someone who booked prior to the deal thinking the £1500 was a dead cert 🙈.

Luckily we aren't all so short on brain cells but the £1500 would have swung it for more than half I can assure you of that! I'm not one of them though.

Would try to get a 2% (or higher of course) backdated instead of this £500 bollox. Part timers will be shafted and end up with a meagre £200 in their pocket even if they’ve worked more hours.

Rumours of ST leaving after we accept this, ahem, " great deal ". If he does he will be very well rewarded as per terms of his contract. Add to that what he wangled himself in dividend related bonuses and a handsome wage to boot, well the guy's actually a fecking genius.
