Thing is we are where we are love 10% without strings but 6% and a bung is better than nothing yes inflation was or at 10% we have not had an inflation busting deal for 30 years. And we can use them agreements not like if it was de unionized make the best of what you have got!

I wonder how many of our colleagues in Deliveries just pay lip service to our militant Forum members and tell them they are voting No to keep the peace.
A secret ballot could yield a different result.
The Ballot will be secret Milly! If you're on about the straw poll on RMC do you really think anyone pays any attention to it? If you mean people say one thing in the office and then do another .... you still get an honest ballot.
I'd be interested to see how hard the CWU Leadership push on the upcoming briefings to try and persuade everyone to vote YES? Will it be a case of: "We need a Massive vote ...."

This is not lip service it's a pay rise of 6% and a £500 bung pro rata. and an agreement on most issues while not happy about this we can re group and fight that fight again!

It isn't agreement on most issues. It is capitulation on most issues.
Our terms and conditions are getting decimated. And that is not necessary for RM's financial viability, it's just trimming RM's bottom line by casualising the workforce.
There will be no fight in the future. Once these rights and protections are gone, they are gone.

This thing started last year around April the imposition of 2% was in june they basically paid most till the end of August so their is your back pay you have had I had it. And then it was a wage increase of 2% after the end of august. Till April 2023 virtually now we can all look back on the past but the future is there if you want it!sindba wrote: ↑22 Apr 2023, 22:08It isn't agreement on most issues. Agreed. You cannot change anything unless you're still in the game. Vote NO and I genuinely think it's game over for the CWU and thousands of our colleagues. You can lose a battle but you can still win the war.
