Read the room?!!
It’s you lot with your little pink vests sat around eating pink wafers who need to read the room.
You’ve quit on us, are now trying to sell us a reduction in every one of our T&Cs plus a pay cut and we aren’t f***ing happy about it.
With everything that’s happened to us over the last couple of years we’re at breaking point with a lot having already broken. I for one, and everyone else I’ve spoken to now don’t give a s**t about the future of this company, why should we? what we do care about is being shafted and worked to death for no money. We’d rather keep fighting, take it down and go out knowing we didn’t give in.

I'm sad so many were brainwashed by the CWU. If you stood back from the bluster you could see what was coming. Up to the members now, do you want to keep your job with the new conditions and pay or risk loosing it.
Even if Royal Mail can't play with their shiny new parcel machines and force everyone to work 3 hours later, I still can't see us ever going bust.
So in the words of John Rambo "Live for nothing, or die for something". I think that was from the last Rambo film

If there had never been a dispute and today it was announced that our sick policy and pay would be changed for the worse, our finishing times would be at least an hour later and potentially 90 minutes later, we would be working for longer in the winter and get the time back next summer, we can be made to flex up 30 minutes, we can be performance managed on the PDAS and new starters would be on worse terms and conditions but in return we would get a below inflation payrise of just 6% for the year and a small lump sum
Would this be exclaimed as a good deal by us?!
It would be grounds for balloting for industrial action in itself!
Theres some perspective
I wish there was a like option on RMC because you are bang on the money.

The dafties that are voting no will have no job to come back too.
They will be committing hari kari and making themselves look very greedy, grasping and stupid.
How come you only joined today and have 3 posts all anti union and pro RM .
I joined the day because I am happy and content with the deal.
What's your excuse ?
If you read my three posts you might have noticed I am very pro union, and anti stupid people who are looking a gift horse in the mouth.
Vote yes to accept what I think is a good deal, considering we have all endured hardship and financial suffering for over a year.
We are lucky to still have jobs considering the strike action has cost the company £200M, and we are losing public support in the middle of a deep recession and food prices at 17.2 inflation.
A no vote is committing suicide in my opinion.
Wise up.
Read the room, this is getting a massive NO rejection, not a chance this is voted in and you can quote me on that.
A sad day in Union history.
As they say in some parts, you can't fix stupid.
A no vote destroys postal workers jobs, the CWU and Royal Mail
It would be a collective vote for mass suicide.
And the general public will turn against us 100%
Ain't going to happen.
The Silent Majority will vote yes.
And you can quote me on that too.
Firstly, let me say to you a very big warm welcome. I see you just joined the forums just now. Secondly, that also means your opinion is completely invalid but enjoy your time here anyway
Martin Walsh, i thank you for your contribution and information. But i would like you to get out on the street along with all the PEC and do an unachievable delivery for a year, then tell us that what is on the table, after months and months of jaw jaw which has eroded our t and cs, and make no mistake, enabled RM to enforce EVERYTHING they wanted in due course is acceptable. It is a total surrender from our top table that makes me think your main objective was remaining "in the room" even with little to no influence.
The Silent Majority will vote yes.
And you can quote me on that too.
Mail processing and distribution are likely to vote YES because the changes don't really affect them. If most of us on deliveries don't agree with the changes then that will make them very difficult to be implemented regardless of the vote. You ever heard the saying "you can lead a horse to water"?
Well, you can quote me on that too
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
After all the dust settles and the meetings go round saying it’s either this deal or no job that will be enough to get it over the line.
I can’t vote yes for it but the majority of people won’t read the entire agreement they will just look at the positive bits and be influenced by reps and managers.
Remember there a quite a few staff who don’t know why we even walked out.
Read the room?
Most of them in that room you was in have not done a delivery since Adam was a lad, your all on paid release your all too willing to throw away the ill health agreement which just that in case will lose members thousands of pounds.
The deal stinks of senior reps all afraid of losing their cushy numbers and to still have their feet under the RM gravy train.
f***ing joke of a `deal`
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.
