Indeed. Was told this by our rep this morning. He believes he's "going to have to sell the deal to the members". Which tells me the deal isn't going to go down well.

If it was a good deal they would of been out boasting how great it was straight away,having to wait this long says to me they are getting opinions of the higher ups in the union on accepting the deal and how us members will be let down gently,vote NO !!!!!

Whatever the deal or is not, if it is rejected by the CWU members then be prepared for executive action on a massive scale to push it all through. Baton down the hatches

Exactly. I really don't know what these people spouting ' vote no ' really expect the result of that to be? Strikes again? That nuclear button has been pressed already. It doesn't work. Re nationalize RM? You think you'd be better off than you are now, think again.
People need to seriously consider the alternative before they vote no to whatever deal they've come up with and they better have a back up plan for alternative employment.
