Assuming you're in sections A, B or C of the RMPP and are paying into Flexiplan, just get in touch with the PSC in Sheffield. Contact details are on the RMPP website.

If you're in the RMDCP, see here.

Apologies, I didn`t see that :)
I assume the avc forms are the same if it`s just an additional voluntary contribution ?

Paying AVC's mean slightly different things depending on which scheme you're in.

If you're a member of the RMPP you can pay AVC's into Bonusplan and/or Flexiplan, which are designed to fund the tax free lump sum when taking your main scheme benefits(although there are other options). Unless you're in section F(ex RMDCP) which is basically the same as a DC pension.

Personally when I've altered my RMPP AVC payments I've always just written to the PSC and asked to change my weekly payments from £x to £y. But there are forums you can use in the library section of the RMPP website: https://www.royalmailpensionplan.co.uk/ ... ts/library" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you're in the RMDCP, the AVC's you pay just go into the same pot as your regular contributions.

Although both the RMDCP and AVC's via the RMPP are administered by Scottish Widows, they are separate and different and have their own investment choices. Those choices and their fact sheets can be found here:

RMPP AVC's: https://digital.feprecisionplus.com/cor ... ory=2rmp62" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
RMDCP: https://digital.feprecisionplus.com/cor ... ory=6rmd79" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If your contribution moves to the right hand side of the payslip does that mean you are paying too and have fallen out of pse ? This has happened on occassion to me.

Yes it does.
It has probably happened a lot recently due to the strikes, but you don't want it in the right hand column on a normal week.

Please be aware that the amount you can shield from Tax and NI will reduce dramatically if we don't receive a payrise soon, as the minimum wage rises to £10.42 in the new Tax year.

Are you desperate to lose more money?
The thing is people are sick of it all, thankfully my colleagues aren't all Wolfie Smith wannabes like the people that seem to populate this site.
Many people on here they would say no to any deal even if it was brilliant, as they would no doubt find something to object to.
