This is going to be a nightmare for some duties.

Ricky mentioned that summer time is a quiet period with less work :left:

Oh dear Ricky, you do realise that there will be more work for us posties to try and get rid of the parcel, signed letter. We are definitely going backwards on putting customers first including us. Board is probably F*** em let's see how much more we can save by introducing this balls up of a system.

Will this process actually reduce the number of packets returned to the callers office, or will this result in the postperson being overloaded each day, and still having to take back excessive loads Dailly, as most week days the people are usually away working, so won't be in on a week day , another point is more time used against an already time consuming day, not sure about this move, has this been trialed elsewhere.

So when we bring them back after the first attempt, do we leave them on our bench (ready for the following day) or hand them in as normal?
At the end of the day you are just postmen [sic].You deserve nothing more than what's been offered and probably a lot less.

Some customers are booking redelivery for the next day (I always thought you had to wait 24hrs) and they are still not in...so you'll probably just carry these auto redelivers around you like a ball & chain for an extra day before you eventually P739 them.

So does this mean callers offices are staying open then as it says after the 2nd delivery attempt you can collect as normal.

I can't keep up, we're getting dedicated parcel drivers, then we aren't, we're getting parcel hubs, then we aren't, but now we are again apparently according to a recent post on here, we're closing callers offices then this comes along and we aren't, ffs can someone make their mind up.

My guess is you will scan them back into the office yourself and keep them by your frame.

Only specials will go to the callers office.

Right, yes, that's what I'm thinking. We'll be told officially though, right???

You leave them at your fitting and try again the following day, if you still can't get shut then you hand them in, presumably we'll have to endorse them or something otherwise they could get delivered for a 3rd/4th time especially if you bring them back the day before your day off.

Had a video at work last week about this. Apparently, you return them to the office and put a sticker on them, then they are re-sorted the following day back to your walk. Since our revision we bring back at least 2 drop bags of undeliverable packets every single day. Looks like that will be at least 4 now

We don't do neighbours or safe places, they get the one knock & the 10 count & 739ed, bring back a steady 20 to 40 a day, teach them a lesson for not being in

Surely it’s just a continuous cycle, does it actually say it will be attempted once more? Or each day does the “we will attempt 2moro” reset?
