I’m getting the impression that some of those that are shouting the loudest on this thread about the lack of an update would have been more annoyed if the update happened and are happy at getting a chance to slate the CWU

Point proven though

It’s mainly all those posters on here who slate them constantly anyway

If there was an update you’d just be slating the contents of it instead

I’m disappointed there was no update but that’s all - disappointed - not hysterical and I’m willing to give benefit of the doubt for the reasons why

My opinion. Take it or leave it. We are just being conditioned to accept a pretty poor deal. RM are pushing it through the Union realise it the more fed up the people get over it the more likely we will just be happy to take it.
I think so too. But the CWU are now making themselves look unprofessional by not adhering to statements they've made.

If their reputation comes under more flack, then it further weakens their legitimacy in the work place. I think the leadership throughout the dispute has been unclear and not decisive enough.

I think they've been played by RM all along, first by not believing the state of the finances, secondly by calling strikes allowing RM to serve notice on the agreements, thirdly having no end game strategy now they are stuck in limbo with a sorry deal or the impossibility of continuing strikes.

Take everything else out of the equation, it is still diabolical on a human level to say something then totally not and not even acknowledge why, let alone on a business level!! The CWU is a business, members pay money to, it's disgraceful behaviour and shows how unprofessional they really are. Don't know what they're thinking. Literally!

Managers/Reps at a low local level know jack s**t, not saying it's wrong though as you'd think on Monday we'll hear some bloody thing!!

Yep. They seem to use the fact that it's a weekend and by Monday, everyone will have forgotten about the promised update. I don't know why they would give deadlines or key dates, it just makes them look like fools. No wonder RM don't respect them
