Re: UPDATE DUE?
So are the Union so dishonest as to tell us we'll have an update within 24hrs and not even say we haven't finalized anything but we said we'd get back to you so this is all we have for now?
A bit rich, Ward telling us not to trust 'the board of royal mail ' when the Union have just outright lied to it's loyal members, the people who pay their wages.
If I tell someone I'll get back to you, I'll get back to them, it's just common courtesy isn't it?
Ward and his cronies are just overpaid windbags as far as I can see, and not honest or decent too.

Re: UPDATE DUE?
We need better leadership at RM and in CWU. Just imagine what could be achieved with Ward and ST out of the picturerambo1 wrote: ↑14 Apr 2023, 21:12So are the Union so dishonest as to tell us we'll have an update within 24hrs and not even say we haven't finalized anything but we said we'd get back to you so this is all we have for now?

Re: UPDATE DUE?
Exactly, it's like they've both wound each other up and it's a personal battle now. Fxxk the posties. As long as either don't back down. This is good honest hard-working people's lives they're messing with with their big ego small willy waving contest.needadvice wrote: ↑14 Apr 2023, 21:15We need better leadership at RM and in CWU. Re: UPDATE DUE?
Why then tell us will be fully updated within 24hrs. Any wonder there is so much derision.chickenwittle wrote: ↑14 Apr 2023, 20:01Every update gets met with the same derision, I don’t blame them for holding off.sixfoottwo wrote: ↑14 Apr 2023, 19:58Yep I think it's the lack of ANY comms that p!$$ people off.k979aaa wrote: ↑14 Apr 2023, 19:22Well all lot could happen in 24 hours ie the feed back of the so called offer and they could engage in more talks thing is guys and girls anything can happen. Re: UPDATE DUE?
There's no way you can tell us "you completely understand our anger and frustrations" and then keep continuously keeping members on the edge like this at the end of the week. It's been like this for nearly four months, no way can people live like that! I don't know whether it's cuz the select committee not giving them the result they quite wanted, but they've been awfully quiet since then. Even in the talks leading up to Christmas, they were still chirping away on social media. Members need to know what you have put on the table, they need it from YOU! Not RM, You CWU! Bloody hell, they longer they leave it, the more time RM has to plant seeds into people's heads! It's no wonder people are pissed off! Just tell us what's going on. You bloody said in the stream it can't go on by end of this week, but still doing this shiet!

Re: UPDATE DUE?
When in the past has there been a running commentary on the negotiations?
What's the point?
When there's an agreement we will see it and we'll all get a chance to vote on it, not the Chinese whispers.
The only beneficiary of a running commentary is RM. They would then just tailor their offer to what effectively would be a popularity contest from the reaction on social media and tie the hands of the CWU negotiating team!

Re: UPDATE DUE?
It's not the first time the union has promised something within a certain timeframe and failed to deliver on it. Every failure is another point to RM, and it's working in their favour cuz more people are growing sick of it and would vote in anything in at this point. They've not even once throw out an apology, just the "well I understand this, but let's us be crystal clear" schtick. No hashtags, what people want is for you to be real with them. Not this propaganda bullshit or management jango they like spitting, especially this late in the game.gone postal wrote: ↑14 Apr 2023, 21:46When in the past has there been a running commentary on the negotiations?

If you tell the members who you work for and pay your large salaries you will update - THEN DO IT or simply say sorry little bit longer
They wonder why members are so pissed of with the CWU right now

I'm not pissed off! I understand the complexity of the talks and comms might not always be possible.
You're playing into Royal Mail's hands, with your constant whinging like little children. It's embarrassing.
