Re: The weekend is over
I guess after Friday, a new deadline will appear for one day next week and then possible a week or so after that :/aiden01 wrote: ↑11 Apr 2023, 14:56Think this fri is the latest deadline along with all the other deadlines that have been missed.guardianangel wrote: ↑11 Apr 2023, 14:52The weekend is over and we head into another week of being overworked ,bullied ,harrassed. Can’t be a deadline can only be a date they would like things concluded. best thing for RM would be more strikes over the summer. would be better than annualised hours for them.

Re: The weekend is over
I don't know what's happening, but I know that in our DO we had large (almost strike day numbers) of casuals from 8am covering the walks that are being absolutely mullered by the "bolt ons" (it's not absorption it's different, honest) and another group of casuals in the afternoon waiting for our vans so they can take the trackeds out that the walks are now too long to finish

Exactly that’s why the Union are reluctant to call strikes it’s playing straight into Royal mails handsheraldmoth wrote: ↑11 Apr 2023, 15:08Can’t be a deadline can only be a date they would like things concluded. best thing for RM would be more strikes over the summer. would be better than annualised hours for them.

Are RM and CWU even in discussions? I thought RM had ceased talks.

Give the union some credit, they did make RM budge on their supposed "final offer". The Union have made a few mistakes but in general they've done more good than bad.

You expect too much. That information is for the wise elders of the Postal executive committee and Dave Ward. We will get an update when these deity’s deem us worthy and not a second before. If we hang around here long enough there’s a chance one of these gods who goes by the name of Martin Walsh will pop a message into this mortal realm we reside in and give a brief update. Don’t hold your breath though.

Re: The weekend is over
I wondered this.
Last we heard from both RM and CWU was that talks had ended. So what's going on? Are Dave and Andy just waiting for someone at RM to return their calls, or what?
If literally nothing is happening, what are we even waiting for?

From 9% over 18 months to 10% over 3 years.
From starting 3 hours later to 60-90 minutes later.
Historical allowances have been kept - for those lucky enough to have them.
And we are still fighting against a two-tier workforce though everyone knows we already have a 4-tier workforce.
Have they sold Wimbledon yet?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
