Re: inflight requests
Just ask the manager? Or workplace coach!? If they don’t know they should be sacked

Workplace coach should be explaining what the procedure is.

Re: inflight requests
We have a separate hood for inflight stuff. Gets dealt with before everyone heads out the door if an item gets redirected to a different address.

Re: inflight requests
It's simply where people have asked for a change in their delivery, isn't it? In the case of local collect, they can pick it up from a PO. We just need to hand in the flagged up parcels so the change can be made. That's my understanding anyway.

Re: inflight requests
In flight requests can be:
1) Change of delivery date (normally done during morning scan to route)
2) Change to local collect at selected Post Office (normally done during morning scan to route)
3) Change of safe-place location or change to deliver to neighbour (normally done during morning scan to route or can be done during shift)
4) Parcel collections for the day (normally done during morning scan to route)
5) Parcel collections can be added to during shift- although this can cause issues. Had one today where customer didn't have a label for the parcel, and had requested one, but obviously because the collection request was created inflight during shift we didn't have the label either.

Oh btw just looking at my comment, it wasn't intended to look a bit off, I meant I can't believe no one at the op's office knows as they must do but why not share that info, if's are a regular thing these days.

Re: inflight requests
In flight and local collect items should be handed in Callers Office, its their new part of duty to deal with them.
That's what happen in our DO.
