For every decent rep there are many other bent reps that don't report the facts to the CWU head office. What Royal Mail will most likely do is to still push through a revision but not on the initial scale that they were after. In this way, the union will hail this as some sort of a victory in the negotiations.
I don't think our reps know what to do because area reps have been so lenient with the bosses.

Our office is a disgrace and has been for years...area rep couldn't give a toss.
So our rep gets the flack.

This area rep must be voted for so do your bit and vote him/her out might take 3 or 4 years but do yourself a favour and get someone who gives a s**t!
