Complicated issue.

Post by xPandabear1992x »

Hi all. I'm leaving on Friday. I was getting really excited to start my new job on Monday. And then I checked my payslip.

Not only is there a Leaver Overpayment of over £400

Apparently I'm going to get sod all else either.

I'm part way through paying for a fairly inexpensive technology package on MyBundle+. We're talking £300 at the beginning of the 2 year repayment period. I'm roughly a year in so I've got about £150 to repay.

Payroll/MyBundle insist I owe them over £700...

That's apparently being deducted from my wage, as well as the regular deductions, which means I'll be getting nothing.

To top it all off, the Technology benefit has completely disappeared from the MyBundle website.

Anyone have any info on who to contact?

Contact both your Rep & Line Manager.
Your Line Manager will have to contact his/her boss as he/she will not have access to My Bundle for employees.
Your Rep will hopefully bypass Line Manager & go straight to source, ie, the Manger who can deal with it.
Usually there is an opportunity to set up a direct debit through your bank but I fear you are far too late for that.

Wish you good luck in your new job.

You will be locked out of the People app the moment your contact ends. I would screenshot any pages you want for the future before you leave.

I can't help with the other stuff other than a general thought that if these deductions are wrong (you can prove with written evidence) then they are unlawful deductions.

If Royal Mail ignore your request for a correction, you can always contact ACAS on line.. just fill in the details on the form and request a mediation.

ACAS then approach Royal Mail and see if they'll change their minds with a second look at it. It's also a free service.

Good luck with everything that you do. You won't look back.
