Re: IHR
No idea! How much you will be offered! Knowing RM these days I doubt it would be generous! I've been off for 2 months with spine and neck pain! 20 years of lifting bags and getting in and out of vans has certainly taken its toll ! Im only 40!. Would happily take money to walk as I think the damage is done.

Re: IHR
34 weeks pay lump sum ( untaxed) and 12 weeks payment in lieu of notice ( taxed). I think you get any outstanding annual leave entitlement too but not sure if that's included in your 12 weeks notice period now.Postman12345 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023, 10:57Been off for 2months now with a dislocated knee which keeps popping out and causing issues, just had a phone call from my manager saying they are referring me to OH and he said ill be offered IHR, ive been there 19 years only 36 years old what kind of monies is IHR paid at?
Reading through some threads here lately, an offer of IHR is getting harder to get.

Well I'll do my 6 months of full pay and leave if I don't get offered ihr, my knee keeps popping out of place and grinding, it's painful when walked on for a period of time so no chance of doing a walk, ive got a class 1 driving license if they wanted to find me another job within the business

When you have your occupational health call make sure you put it in plain terms that you can’t or won’t be able to do the job full stop, even in 6 months time. It will depend then how they write the report. If there’s one sentence that sais you could return that could scupper the application.Best of luck

You are entitled to see the questions the manager puts in the referral to optima prior to your appointment. This will give you an idea what they're going to ask. Basically; diagnosis, past med history , prognosis (ie likelihood of improvement) and your daily symptoms including how it affects day to day activities (as you might be covered by equality act and they like to know).
